Last year, There With Care provided essential services to 185 families with a child experiencing a life-threatening mental health crisis. More than anything, these families need time to be present for their child, to connect, and to shower them with love and support.

Laurie, a single, working mother noticed a change in her daughter, Frankie. There was a shift in her mood, she was sleeping a lot, and she did not seem to want to do much of anything. Soon after, Frankie was hospitalized with depression. Laurie struggled to balance caring for her daughter and working as the sole provider. She was thankful to learn about There With Care.

Over the next few months, Laurie and Frankie received deliveries of groceries, transportation assistance, toiletries, and more. Laurie was touched with the personalized care that the program coordinator provided. “They asked Frankie what her favorite food was, they got her some coloring books, and this beautiful backpack...When I was focusing on my child, they were focusing on both of us.”
