Monica joined There With Care of the Bay Area in 2015 as the Bilingual Program Coordinator. She was born and raised in Guatemala until 1979 when she immigrated with her family to New York. She moved to California in 1985 and continued her education in Hotel and Restaurant Management. For the last 10 years, she worked in customer care departments for clinical labs specializing in cancer and diabetes patients.
Monica is a single mom of three and a cancer survivor. She understands the struggles families go through during a critical medical crisis. She enjoys bringing comfort to families dealing with hard situations and happy to help assist the Spanish speaking community in every way possible. She believes in having compassion for all individuals and that a hug and a smile can make a big difference in people’s lives.
