Benefit Concert Fri., February 19th from 6:30-9 PM at Cafe Zoë in Menlo Park
Students of the club “Partners in Health” from Menlo-Atherton High School joined together to facilitate a benefit concert for There With Care in the local Menlo Park area. The donations received during the musical performance contributed to the purchase of supplies for “Mom & Dad Personal Care Kits”. These kits are essential for families involved with There With Care, as around-the-clock care for an ill child requires some extra TLC for Mom & Dad. The concert fundraiser included a wide variety of musical styles and featured performers including students from Menlo-Atherton and the greater Menlo Park community. The event was held on Fri., February 19th from 6:30-9pm at Cafe Zoë in Menlo Park. 20% of all proceeds made by Cafe Zoë during the concert were donated directly to the cause. For more information, email coordinators at email@example.com.Cafe Zoë: 1929 Menalto Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025

Each year There With Care holds a very special and unique Annual Signature Event. This event supports our crucial programs which ease the burden for families with children who are facing critical illness. Our signature event this year was ‘Be There With Care 2015’. We had a very special evening on October 2nd, 2015 at Holbrook-Palmer Park in Atherton, CA with fabulous food and music at the Italian Bistro Under the Stars!
During the night, we were also grateful to have the opportunity to show our appreciation of three members of our community by presenting them with this year’s Inspiration Award–Dr. Harvey Cohen & Dr. Paul Fisher, There With Care Advisory Board Members and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital doctors who helped start There With Care in the Bay Area, and Sheri Hall, There With Care Program Director, who has helped hundreds of families manage their child’s critical illness since our early days.
This year’s event was special for so many reasons: More than 100 volunteers helped us prepare for the event and represented the organization on the night of–thanks to everyone. We welcomed nearly 260 guests to our event, many of whom were learning about us for the very first time. And we had a very special family speak about their experience with their daughter’s critical illness and There With Care. Their son, pictured below, introduced them and captured the hearts of everyone present.
We are very thankful to the following sponsors for supporting this year’s event:
Looking for a fun way to get active? Want to support families dealing with pediatric critical illness?
There With Care teamed up with Fit For Life master trainer Keith Kern to create a fitness class that benefitted our families.
